Placename

Gaelic name: Achadh nam Feadan

Name in Original Source: Achadh nam Feadan

English meaning: Field of the streams

Placename feature: Field

Notes: A green area marked on the Griffin/Beaton map due south of Creag Bhàn (q.v.) and due east of Salachar (q.v.) In this case, it is probably an outby field or pasture area. On the map, the words (Field of the chanter) are added in English, but it is probably more likely to be streams that the word feadan refers to.
