Notes: This name is marked on the Griffin/Beaton map in terms of the run of a small stream which twists through the township of Àirigh nan Cruithneachd (q.v.) and enters the sea in Òb Dubh (q.v.) It is spelt on the map as 'An Loupan', but it is more likely to be An Lùban, which has the same meaning as An Lùbag, despite having a different noun gender
