Placename
Gaelic name: Fuaran a' Bhealaich
Name in Original Source: Fuaran a' Bhealaich
English meaning: Spring of the Bealach
Placename feature: Well
Notes: Information from a diary entry written by Donald Kenneth Cameron, dated 29th November 1926. It details how he and his father walked from Applecross to Shieldaig to take possession of the fishing boat Isa Wood, and that they stopped to drink from this well on the way, somewhere on the Bealach na Bà road. There is a spring that is still used from time to time beside the road at the co-ordinates given, but this needs to be checked
