Notes: A now-choked, or lost, well at the top of the shore near cfAn Creagan in the township of An Àird Dhubh. Rev. Dr. Kenneth MacDonald (29th November 2012) said that in his very young days he could remember this well as containing uisge ruadh - rust-coloured water - so it was used for washing but not drinking. He recalled Peigi an Fhiocair going back and forth between her home and this well as she washed clothes and bedding prior to the family's move to Kyle of Lochalsh in the early 1940s
