Placename

Gaelic name: Ceum na h-aona chois

Name in Original Source: Ceum na h-aona chois

English meaning: The one-foot path

Placename feature: Land feature

Notes: Not exactly a man-made feature, but a path worn by generations in the hill on the north-west side of Abhainn Thoghsgaig, near what Duncan Murchison (24th October 2012) called Lùbadh na h-Abhna (the bending of the river). This section of path or track is a little treacherous as it is very narrow, permitting only single-file foot traffic, and is perched precipitously above the river with a sharp drop awaiting the careless
