Placename
Gaelic name: Cnoc nan Each
Name in Original Source: Cnoc nan Each
English meaning: Hill of the horses
Placename feature: Hill
Notes: According to a hand-drawn sketch map produced for the Applecross Historical Society by Mrs Annie Fraser, this is the area where the road drops down past the cattle grid into the township of Culduie. It is essentially a small hillock with a blind road summit. The name and location were confirmed by Duncan Murchison, 24th October 2012, with the suggestion that it was possibly where horses were rested duing ploughing
