English meaning: Steep path

Notes: It is only on a hand-drawn map by Mrs Annie Fraser that this name appears, where it seems to be placed as being at (or near) the top of the current 14% section of road which reaches a peak just before Sannda, which used to be a sheep farm, comes into vview travelling north along the Applecross coastal road. It is unclear if the name refers to that feature, or - possibly - the section of the old coastal track just above it on the hill which plunges down very sharply. The co-ordinates given here refer to the latter feaure
