Notes: In general usage, no informants today ever remember hearing a Gaelic name for this sea loch, or any equivalent name other than the Bay. However, it appears from a recording with the School of Scottish Studies that Kenneth Macrae, F.S.A. Scot., called it Loch Mòr (q.v.)
