Placename

Gaelic name: Achd a' Leth-uillt

Name in Original Source: Achd a' Leth-uillt

English meaning: The half-stream field

Placename feature: Outby field

Notes: Roderick Gillanders (PN1971.016A) gives this name to the Scottish Place Name Survey in May 1971. It is a portion of hill ground just to the north of the Toghsgaig river, however the co-ordinates given here are for a green, bracken-filled patch a little east-south-east of the point marked on the SPNS map - further investigation of the exact location is required
